Mr. Bharat Chokshi is a first generation entrepreneur, who began his enterprising career at the early age of 22, after completing his graduation.

He started experimenting with small batches of Polyurethane coatings, his kitchen being the workshop. He would make 1 - 2 litres at night and go seek customers in the day. He loaned out a shed from a friend and put up a small scale manufacturing facility, with only three people – one technical, one commercial and a typist.

This was the beginning of his dream project – the birth of GRAND POLYCOATS COMPANY PVT. LTD. Today GP has comprehensive Technical Development and Manufacturing facilities.
